# Select Objects

Selecting multiple objects allows you to move, rotate, and scale them together. You can select objects either with the [context button](/interactions.md#contextual-actions) or the [selection sphere](/interactions/select-objects.md#selection-sphere).

When you click the trigger in the empty space—everything gets deselected.

### Continuous selection

Select or deselect objects continuously by touching them while holding a controller button.

### Selection Shapes

Select objects within Box, Sphere, and Line shapes single handedly or by extruding the shape with both controllers.

### Change selection shape

When you create selection shape, holding the trigger makes arrow buttons appear. You can use those buttons to change the shape type.
